Rimadesio presents BACK TO MODERNITY

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2023, Rimadesio explores this fundamental theme and proposes its own particular interpretation of it. In fact, many novelties are on the programme: the Rialto family dedicated to living, the Altair system of central room storage units, the Air transparent glass door, but also the communication campaign and the magazine Modern Stories, an unpublished account of the collection that includes reflections on modernity by Stefano Salis, Maria Cristina Didero, Giuseppe Lupo and Deyan Sudjic.

The new Rimadesio collection, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, translates into a range of innovative and coordinated solutions, according to an architectural interpretation of furnishing that envisages continuous updating of the proposals and constant development of the finishes: from the new fire-resistant tech fabrics to the exclusive Miele imitation leather that has been added to the current palette, from the light oak essence proposed on the sliding panels to the Ebano stained finish introduced on the dining tables. The ambience of the Milan flagship store, located inside a historic building dating back to the 1700s and restored over the following years by great names in Italian architecture such as Piero Portaluppi and Francesco Gnecchi Ruscone, has been completely renovated: essential architectural spaces, material surfaces and light, bright shades contribute to emphasise the modernity of the Rimadesio collection.

Designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, the renovated showroom has undergone a major restyling: the exhibition concept plays on a sober and minimalist colour palette, in line with the identity that distinguishes all the single-brand stores in the world. In the space, light becomes a design element in a bright atmosphere with a minimalist aesthetic. The rooms host the new collection and updates of some iconic products: sliding panels, doors, walk-in wardrobes, systems for the living and sleeping area, tables and complements. rimadesio.it
