ovre.design® consolidates its far-sighted collaboration with Hotel Val di Sogno located in Malcesine on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda with the recent design and realisation of the Val di Sogno suite and two Shiny Bay Junior Suites. The partnership between the architectural firm founded by architect Giulia Delpiano and designer Corrado Conti and the owners of Hotel Val di Sogno was born and has developed over the years with interior design work aimed at designing rooms and suites for each floor. Underlying the client’s objectives was the desire to celebrate Italian design, to surprise guests with a unique and original concept and to win them over with cosy environments.
The Hotel Val di Sogno, in the bay of the same name, is positioned as a four-star superior with 36 rooms of around 20 square metres and suites averaging around 70 square metres. The rooms and suites all have a lake view and are like the frame around a Klimt painting: the elegant underlining of a masterpiece that catches the eye and conquers the soul thanks to the identity design and the sophisticated stylistic research in the details and in the choice of custom-made furnishings, studied and designed by ovre.design®.
The originality in design that the ovre.design® studio has conveyed in the rooms and suites of the Hotel Val di Sogno are the result of refined creative quality. The distinctive identity given to the first interventions made in some rooms, suites and common areas, rendered intimate, warm, harmonious, have led the Client to strongly believe in the vision and style of ovre.design®, entrusting it with the realisation in 2022 of 3 more prestigious suites, the most important and the most voluminous of the structure, the Val di Sogno suite and the two Shiny Bay Junior Suites.
“To continue to amaze a trusted clientele by offering them an increasingly emotional and experiential design while at the same time enhancing the enchanting and unparalleled view of the lake, this was the challenge in our design of the new suites,” says Giulia Delpiano. The restyling of the Hotel Val di Sogno responds to a request from the client to position itself as a premium hotel, starting with the design, which must be able to best represent the sense of welcome and warmth, with a strong degree of personalisation and uniqueness, communicating luxury understood as the value of space, time and the person.
The ovre.design® studio was able to express the creativity of the suites by drawing inspiration from the colours and sensations of nature, aroused by the lake and the mountains, thus proposing interior design solutions in line with the client’s expectations. The result is the Val di Sogno Suite and the Shiny Bay Junior Suites. The Val di Sogno suite is the calmness of the lake echoing in the interiors, an experience of total living comfort in the sign of quality Italian design.
The Val di Sogno suite comprises 56 square metres of interior space, including bedroom and bathroom, and 20 square metres of outdoor space with a double glass balcony and a direct lake view. Every piece of furniture is custom-designed and fully customised by ovre.design® for the structure and has been created by the Bonfante contract. La Val di Sogno is identified by the choice of customised furnishings and precious materials, canned boiserie, headboards with sinuous shapes that accentuate the sensation of comfort, tables and bedside tables with special shapes and agglomerate tops. The room is enriched and furnished with sofas and armchairs by Montbel, upholstered in Dedar fabrics in different tones.
A particular and careful study is reserved for the light element, where Catellani & Smith lamps in gold and Bocci lamps in glass next to the headboard are the protagonists. The lighting is also present inside the furnishing complements, which come to life thanks to the switching on of the integrated lights.
The Shiny Bay Junior Suites are two suites where the boundaries between outside and inside gently dissolve thanks to elegant, nature-inspired design elements and a large bay-view window. The Shiny Bay Junior Suites have respectively 34 and 37 square metres of interior space, including bedroom and bathroom, and 20 and 18 square metres of exterior space with a glass balcony overlooking the lake. The result is a space that whispers a gentle melody and best expresses the creativity of ovre.design® in the colours, materials and sensations that recall the surrounding nature.
