Today, and with much joy, we announce that the 2023 season for Riva del Sole Resort & Spa is about to begin. On 22 April, the season gets off to a flying start, with lots of novelties that are sure to please everyone, from the youngest to the oldest.
Ever since we were born, in the 1960s, we understood that the beauty of our land and sea would contribute to writing our history. A story of elegance, invention and tradition whose protagonist is Eva Khoury, designer, among the 100 most influential women in Italy according to Forbes Magazine’s ranking. With a view to reinterpreting spaces and atmospheres in the sign of relaxation and harmony, we won the extraordinary title of Best Luxury Design Hotel in Tuscany in the prestigious Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2023. What convinced the jury? A combination of many elements: the preservation of the identity of the place and at the same time the fact of having used all the elements and know-how to give today’s guests everything they may need. A state-of-the-art conference centre, shops, activities of all kinds, restaurants and bars designed for a wide range of clientele, hotel rooms of every category, the beauty of the marine-themed Coral Suite or that of the Exotik Suite where dreams are mixed with reality. Or the brightness of our Deluxe Villas, including two magnificent Exclusive Villas with Jacuzzi, immersed in the cool peace of a spectacular pine forest, a stone’s throw from the private white sandy beach, perfect in their balance of Italian design and international references. Or perhaps it is every detail, every material, nuance and thought, hence every memory that makes the difference. Even in the kitchen, this year, we are talking about another award.
Once again it is a woman who explains why Riva del Sole Resort & Spa is Winner of LUX’ life’s Seventh Annual Restaurant & Bar Awards in the category of Best Resort Restaurant & Bar Experience 2023. We are talking about Virginia Woolf when she said that “one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not eaten well“. Riva del Sole Resort & Spa guests certainly accumulate precious happy memories also thanks to the talent of Dario Bettoni, our fantastic Executive Chef. What marks the excellence of his cuisine is the choice of the best km0 ingredients, the absolute freshness of the flavours and the overwhelming encounter between the Italian high school and the suggestions of other countries. Beginning with breakfast under the blue sky overlooking the sea at Bar Riva, a carefree and casual lunch at Riva’z Pizzeria & Grill, an elegant evening at La Palma Ristorante and a musical end to the evening at Linnè Piano Bar, then, the great English writer was truly right: “he who eats well, knows how to love and be loved”. And those who know our resort, overlooking the white sandy arch of our private beach, can only cheer for us, a finalist – Shortlisted for The International Hotel & Property Awards 20 23 – in 2022. The award ceremony will be in London later this year. In the meantime, we want to dedicate all these awards to our guests, because if we are successful, it is also thanks to them.
